Hellow my fellow bloggers! It's a new year and a new me! What I've started recently is a personal point-keeping system. It basically it looks like this:
It's done on a basic microsoft excel and I just keep the file on my desktop so I can easily access it everytime I complete a task. My boyfriend promised to award me if I get perfect score for a week (which is near impossible)! He won't tell me how, but I'm still very much motivated!
I'm going to start exercising again. I also need to cut down on excessive carb, sugar, salt, and oil. I need a diet partner because I lack will. If anyone is interested, comment below! Also, some stimulations below!
IF YOU DON'T SHED ANY SWEAT NOW, YOU'LL END UP SHEDDING TEARS LATER!
Yesterday, I was walking toward my 6th period. Instead of going around from one end of the school to the other, I decided to cut through the corridor. When I walked outside, the wind blew dust, leaves, and money at me.... MONEY?! Yeah. At first I was surprised but my foot automatically stepped on it. I picked it up in glee. Today must be my lucky day. Then a gust of wind blew more bills at me. I picked up $50 in the end. I didn't feel easy with the found money. My friend urged me to keep it but I knew that would be SOSOSO wrong; especially since I'm going to become a police in the near future. So, I took the $50 to the main office. When I told the lady at the frontdesk what happened, all she said was, "ok." OK? OK?!!!!!! That b***h didn't even ask me for my name. But at that time I was just like 'whatever. I don't want to be late for class.' When I told my mom this story, my mom said the lady probably kept the money for herself. I plan to visit that lady and interogate whether someone claimed it or not. I've heard that if no one claims the lost money for 30 days, the money is then returned to the finder. I e-mailed my Criminal Justice teacher so he can stand proof. I also have my alibis: Sun, Suemin, and that Vietnamese girl I don't know the name of.
I really wonder whether that money was really from God. If I had found the money somewhere else and I had returned it to the police, I wonder what they would've done. Would anyone snatch it in the middle? What would you do if you found $50?
After all, this xanga is for me so what other better place is there to clear my thoughts and to-do-list?
[1] I'm taking the SAT I, tomorrow, in exactly 12 hours. I haven't been studying for it since I stopped going to Livingstone. I just got back from eating out with my family so until I'm fully digested for bed, I plan to practice a little; focusing mostly on the math section. Last October SAT's math score was just HORRIBLE! I need to redeem myself on the November SAT.
[2] It's second quarter and that means: new books! I'm going to go buy them with my sister after SAT. * Ceremony by Leslie Larmon Silko * Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad * The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner
[3] I think Jae is mad at me. I was very rude to him last night when he called me after his class. I was half asleep and I didn't know what I was saying. I texted him but he only have me short replies. I wish he would call me....
[4] Ms. No wants the documents a.s.a.p. I should turn them in on Monday.
[5] I should work on my college applications and essays.
[6] Don't forget: Physics quizzam on Monday; APES quiz on Tuesday
(1) I took the SAT I today. Another one coming full-speed in November. Then in December, I'm taking the SATII: math and US history. (2) My interim came out last week; not too bad but I must not be over-confident. (3) I started leading the youth group. I am terrified! (4) I updated my college list (see the previous post, below). (5) Demitrius commited suicide on 10/13/10. RIP (6) I'm totally hooked on jazz these days; especially, singers and swing. (7) Watch the ultra-cute-Maru below! ♥
